Spring Brings Senior Sessions

Spring in the desert is one of my favorite times of the year...not just because the weather is beyond gorgeous, but it's a time when high school seniors are graduating. I love working with these young adults because of their outlook on life. They are stepping into a new beginning whether it is looking for a job and becoming financially independent, or they are on their way to college where the opportunities are endless.

Ariel is on her way to college. What a stunning beauty she is... whether she is sporting jean cut-offs or a fancy dress with cowboy boots. Her stylish attitude and beautiful eyes won me over, not to mention her playful personality.

Enjoy your journey, Ariel...

As our session came to an end, Ariel was joined by her family for a farewell portrait capturing their family's love.

One Step Closer to College . . .

Photographing senior portraits is one of my all-time favorites shoots because seniors are so much fun and have a ton of energy. I was thrilled when Kelsey wanted to venture out to Nelson's Landing because it is an incredible place for portraits. Kelsey's personality was beaming as we began our adventure into the wilderness and explored this mining town. Kelsey was so much fun and willing to do anything I asked of her, like posing in the middle of the road when there was a break in traffic. However, I wasn't surprised since she's an aspiring photographer and understands stepping out of the box to get that perfect shot -- or I should say stepping into the roadway, lol. On top of adventurous, she is simply adorable, super sweet and easygoing. Thank you SO much Kelsey (and mom) for asking me to be a part of your step into a successful future...
