Celebrating 20 Years of Marriage

I've known Rebecca and Tom for years.  In fact, they used to call me their "stalker" because every time I was on an assignment, I would run into them.  Of course, they are such an adorable couple, I had to photograph them.  Well, this month they celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.  As part of Rebecca's gift to Tom, she wanted to create a coffee table book of photographs in celebration of their life together and their beautiful daughter, Mary.  We had an amazing time finding ways to illustrate Rebecca's love for Tom.  In addition, in the near future, they are taking a family trip to Ireland to enjoy Tom's lineage... So, of course, Rebecca orchestrated a very creative theme during our session.  As you can imagine, this was one of my favorite shoots this season.

My dear friends -- Rebecca, Tom and Mary -- congratulations to you!!!  You are an inspiration to all of us, and I am grateful to share a tiny bit in your celebration.

Much love...

Body sculpting at its finest

It's not often I am asked to shoot photos of bodybuilders.  So when Mitch asked me if I was interested to shoot his modeling portfolio images, I jumped at the chance.  It's amazing to me how men and women can learn to sculpt their bodies into a piece of art.

All I can say is ... wow!

The Wonderful Twos ...

This little princess, Abigail, just celebrated her 2nd birthday, and what a joy she was to photograph.  Throughout our session, she was extremely curious and wanted to explore everything.  I couldn't believe how bright she was, as she was talking in complete sentences and understood everything I said.  Her little personality was beyond precious and definitely kept me on my toes while snapping away while she searched for pinecones, found pomegranates growing on the trees and playing football with her parents.

Alethea + DJ = Love

I love the romance of weddings, the beautiful details of the ceremony, the loving glances between the couple, and especially watching the love of their family and friends sharing in their happiness.

On this gorgeous, fall Saturday afternoon, Alethea and DJ's wedding was overflowing with family love.   Friends and family came from out of town to join them on their special day.  Under the beautiful rays of sunshine, they said their vows with an occasional happy tear.  Blessed with their children by their sides, they were greeted with warm wishes over and over.

As we tried to photograph each family with the bride and groom, there was a moment I absolutely loved.  Alethea joined her daughter, mother and grandmother in an embrace to capture a four-generation photo.  The smiles and laughter were extremely touching.  These women are so very, very blessed to enjoy these precious moments in each other's lives, and I, in turn, was blessed to have been a part of their family occasion.

Thank you, Alethea and DJ, for allowing me to share in your beautiful day!

A blessed moment for these beautiful women representing four generations ...
And as one said, "My day, with My Ladies... 4 Generations... Thank you LORD."
